Catherine is a global strategist who has led strategy development and organizational change processes with several of the world’s leading NGOs. She was previously the Director for Strategy, Partnerships and Innovation at the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), where she guided the organization in setting its 2030 goals and 2025 targets and in developing rights-based approaches to conservation, Prior to her role at WWF, Catherine worked as the Director for Global Strategy and Impact at Amnesty International, where she led the design and roll-out of a new system for impact assessment and organizational learning across Amnesty’s global network. Catherine helps organizations harness foresight functions, added value-analysis and innovation for effective strategy design and adaptation.

Catherine has also worked as a human rights adviser at the International Press Institute, focused on media freedom, freedom of expression and freedom of association in fragile or crisis-affected states and has undertaken research and advocacy missions across the Middle East and in South Asia. Catherine studied journalism at Carleton University in Ottawa and global politics at the London School of Economics. She is from the east coast of Canada and is based in Vienna, Austria.
