Victoria Strang

Victoria Strang is the Policy Advocate with Faith Communities at Human Rights Watch where she works to engage and collaborate with faith leaders and communities for the promotion of human rights across the globe.

Victoria has spent over ten years in faith-based advocacy and community organizing at both a national and state level. She has worked on numerous issues including workers' rights, immigration, economic inequality, racial justice, housing, and health care. Prior to joining Human Rights Watch, Victoria served as the Strategic Initiatives Manager of Faith Outreach at The Humane Society of the United States and the Director and Lead Organizer of the Rhode Island Interfaith Coalition to Reduce Poverty.

She holds a bachelor's degree from Skidmore College with a concentration in religion in government. In 2017 she received her Master's of Divinity from Yale University where she was a Global Public Health Fellow in Yale’s Law School and School of Public Health.
