Jonas Bull is an assistant researcher on disability rights at Human Rights Watch. Jonas particularly focuses on disability rights in the context of climate change, including impacts of extreme weather events on the rights of people with disabilities. Jonas also coordinates the Marca Bristo Fellowship supporting disability rights advocates worldwide.

Before joining Human Rights Watch, Jonas worked with Mental Health Europe, Humanity & Inclusion (HI), and the German development agency GIZ. Previously, Jonas conducted research projects on livelihoods of refugees with disabilities in Uganda and on migrants' mental health in Greece. 

Jonas graduated magna cum laude in the master's degree Human Rights and Humanitarian Action from Sciences Po School of International Affairs (PSIA) in France and graduated in social work at the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences. Jonas speaks English, German, French, and some Kiswahili.
