The right hand of Mahamat Nour Amadou, who said his finger was cut off by Russian-speaking forces in Bambari, Ouaka province, in January 2019. Nour spoke with international media about his case and told Human Rights Watch he feared for his life for speaking out. He was later killed, in September 2019, under unclear circumstances.
